Assistera Skandinavien AB is a family-owned company that offers personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who have been granted personal assistance under the Act on Support and Service (LSS). About the Position We are currently looking for personal assistants for one of our users residing in Ålidhem. We start with a temporary hourly position where you will be trained and get to try the job for a while; thereafter, there is the possibility of a permanent position at 80%, 70%, or 60%.  Working hours vary between day, evening, and awake night shifts. There will also be waiting time during work shifts.  We welcome both female and male applicants.

Personal Qualities You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, so that communication with the user and colleagues works without misunderstandings. As a personal assistant, you are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You are attentive and have the ability to perceive the user's needs even when they are not expressed in words. You are calm, empathetic, and stable even in stressful situations, and have a positive attitude towards your work. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Job Responsibilities You assist the user with tasks they cannot manage on their own, based on approved interventions. This may include:

• Transfers and personal hygiene
• Household chores and daily activities
• Support in communication and social contacts
• Documentation and reporting of incidents and deviations
• Execution of delegated or self-care tasks. 

Your workplace is where the user is located – at home or during activities outside the home.
